School Support Associate

Ednovate Background

Ednovate launched its first school, USC Hybrid High, a personalized learning high school, in 2012. Since then, Ednovate has grown to five schools, with four in Los Angeles and one in Orange County. Ednovate is committed to serving in areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college prep education by building tuition-free, safe and high-performing public schools to neighborhoods that need it the most. Ednovate is currently planning for our next growth phase as we continue to fulfill our mission to make a positive multigenerational change within the communities we serve and in our profession.  

Position Description

We are seeking a School Support Associate to work with our Network Support Team to enhance the academic services provided to schools and instructors. This individual reports to the Chief of Schools, and will work closely with the Chief of Schools and Director of Special Education to provide direct support to campuses. S/he will aid schools in fostering healthy teams and support campuses in achieving our goal of 80% of students meeting our Annual College Readiness Indicators.

Potential Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

English Learner Support:  

  • Ensure 100% compliance on all reports.
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and support of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning, as well as management of EL Program protocols and procedures.
  • Identify and support model programs and best practices in ELD/EL curriculum, instruction, assessment, and supplemental materials.
  • Assist school administrators with the management of ELD program services, operations, budgets, data, reports, and records.
  • Develop, review, update and implement the Master Plan for English Learners.
  • Observe classroom instruction for the purpose of supporting the implementation of established curriculum, instructional techniques, and assessment.

School Support and Accountability:

  • Provide bi-weekly feedback on school culture and presentation at each campus utilizing Ednovate's internal tool.
  • Work with school administrators to implement feedback as necessary.

Professional Development:  

  • Assist with executing professional development, ensuring 90% satisfaction.
  • Provide project management for the events, including logistical support and oversight
